El Dorado 12-Year

Decent sipping rum, quite sweet and smooth but not boring. Could probably serve nicely as a mixer as well!

I like to drink a glass of rum for desert and this one is very good for that. Smooth and sweet, especially if you take the price into account.

Rather sweet mild rum full of flavor. Long delicate aftertaste. I think this is a rum for everybody. Good also for rum “beginners”. Priced at 40$ where I’m from. The taste far exceeds this price range.

I am ending up with the same rating for this one as I had for the 15 year old. They are different, but I really liked both of the. :-)

I found this on sale for about $30. The reviews looked good, so I gave it a try. Does have a nice initial alcohol burn.nose with vanilla notes. I enjoyed it.

Also ich find den gut. Hab mir auch schon den 15 Jahre alten bestellt und bin auf den auch mal gespannt. Ich gab ihn pur und auch einmal mit Cola getrunken. Geht in beiden Fällen klar. Jaja, ich weiß- blabla nicht mit Cola mischen. Ich seh das ganze so: ich geh für mein eigenes Geld arbeiten und wenn ich Bock hab misch ich meinen Rum auch mit Almdudler. Geht keinen was an. Wenn man eingeladen ist mischt man ihn selbstverständlich NICHT. Aber wennst ne selber gekauft hast dann mach was du willst.

Good alchohol burn up front then levels off to a oak taste on the back end missing hints of any aroma flavors but if straight is your game then you'll enjoy.
