Guyana | Aged | 40% ABV | Pot and Column Still
El Dorado 12-Year Rum is composed of a blend of aged rums, all at least 12 years old. The rums are distilled using a combination of stills including coffey stills and a double wooden pot still before being aged in bourbon oak casks.
Demerara Distillers of Guyana produces El Dorado 12-year rum and is the country's last remaining distillery, with origins tracing back to 1670. The name ""El Dorado"" references the legendary city of gold that is said to be in the country's Rupununi region.

Well balanced for my taste, smooth a litte bit sweet. It was for its good ratings on this side I ordered this rum. And I am not disipointed.

This had all the tones I had hoped for and has moved away from complex spices. Maybe a little sweeter than expected but a great rum all the same
Its got a very sweet taste to it in mine opinion but for other people its a geat rum
Although the flavour is good, both the nose and the taste are not strong enough to really enjoy it. I'd say it is very drinkable, but not even close to be special.

The taste is good and fine. Little sweet. But the aftertaste is strange. It looks à little chemic.

Mais qu'est ce que ce rhum est sucré ! Ce rhum a été trafiqué et fait en réalité 28-29%. Nous avons donc affaire à une liqueur...
Dommage car le rendu initial devait être intéressant.
