Dos Maderas PX 5 + 5 rum is made from a combination of rums from Barbados and Guyana. It is unique becuase of its triple ageding process where for 5 initial years the rum is aged in the Carribean in oak casks. Next PX 5 + 5 is aged in Spain for 5 years in sherry casks, and lastly for 2 more years in even older sherry casks.
The Dos Maderas family of rums are produced by Bodegas Williams & Humbert, which is a well known Spanish winery founded by Sir Alexander Williams in the late 1800s. The region of Spain where the winery is located has a climate perfectly suited for wine and is known as Europe's wine cellar.

If you want big party and you have “no money”, this one is for you. Smooth and sweet. Also my wife likes it, so it has its place in our cabinet.
First tried this at The Rum Barrel in Key West (now closed) and fell in love. Smooth as silk, so flavorful and rich. Very fruity and sweet without overpowering. If you can try it, do so. If you can find a bottle under $50, let me know!
Sweet and dark! Hints of sherry, citrus, and different from other rums. Highly recommend. Smooth molasses finish

Für den Preis ganz gut, ist ja günstig. Darf ja nicht zu kalt sein, entwickelt den Geschmack erst nach einer Zeit im Glas in Raumtemperatur
Die einzigartige Lagerung führt zu einem außergewöhnlichem Geschmack. Gefällt mir sehr gut!
