Not sure my opinion counts for much, but this was the first proper rum I've bought (i.e. not Bacardi or Captain Morgan) to drink straight. I have never really drank spirits unmixed before, and I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to drink.
Good enough to sip, Nose: molasses, candied prunes, vanilla, toffee and hint of sweet bean
Affordable, full of flavor and while tasty I found it to be pretty sweet. Taste of chocolate, orange, toffee... almost like a dessert. A great entry way to drinking rum neat or over ice for the first time. Enjoyable and recommended if you like your rum on the sweet side of the spectrum.
Rich amber color, more red than most aged rums. Heavy ripe banana aroma. Very sweet with a little cinnamon spice. After first sip the aroma got slightly bubblegum-like. Tastes a bit artificial, but not so much that it’s ruined. Overall good, not great.
Pas d'artifice, une finition subtile, on lui reprochera peut-être un petit manque de fantaisie, un "on-ne-sait-quoi" le rendant singulier.
I really liked combination with Cola and Diplomatico. It is very good rum without Cola too. Fine taste.
Too sweet for mature aged rummers. Def can be a starting rum for some people and its rather pleasing too.
"The palate evokes chocolate sauce and the sweet toffee, fudge and tropical fruit flavours from the nose"
"The nose is dominated by notes of caramel, toffee and crème. On the back end of the aromas, I can detect a hint of smoke and pineapple"

Smells sweet. It is fruity, oranges, grapes and raisins with scents of chocolate and a sweet almost syrupy.
"The tasting notes on the site are very accurate vanilla, fudge/toffee sauce are noticeable as are notes of vanilla and a finish which is slightly bitter like cocoa which leaves a hit of oakiness on the taste buds. The finish is pretty short. ."

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Like liquid velvet smooth and dark. Sweet molasses with a little Carmel. It's the only rum I buy now.
