very good rum form me, very soft sweet smell, smooth taste, sweet, good for sipping, also good with cigar, like this rom, smell could be more dominant
I was thoroughly impressed drinking this rum as a sipping rum. It did not have any fuel based flavor to it. The first taste I had was a cinnamon flavor which got me hooked having another double shot. I would buy a bottle and put it in my bar. Again straight no coke needed. Enjoy!
Still not a big fan of this one. I mean it works absolutely. But it doesn't rock my boat.
Super smooth with notes of caramel, vanilla, and tobacco
With the consistently good ratings on this rum I had to give it a try. A good price at Total Wine. I like mine on the rocks and was pleased with the taste and smoothness. However it is well above the price of my benchmark, Bacardi 8. Maybe I'm in the minority but I do consider price a factor in rating rum. If it were the price of Bacardi 8 I would give it at least a 9. As it is I'll go with the crowd at 8
What a difference a few years can make.
Where it’s little brother is quite normal, the reserva is an explosion of taste with a good composition of sweet complexity. And I don’t even know if that’s a word. But when you taste this gem in the world of rums, you will know exactly what I’m talking about!
Un rhum pouvant être dégusté tous les jours et très consensuel. À toute occasion (apéritif, fin de repas...)
Smooth with a taste distinct from other sippers I’ve had.
This is a great rum! Very sweet and still not something to fool around with. It made a very good first impression on me and I realized, almost as soon as I smelled it, that I had underestimated this rum. It is a great choice for any lover of sweet rums. The taste of vanilla was fantastic and I have him in one of my top spaces in my cabinet!
"The palate evokes chocolate sauce and the sweet toffee, fudge and tropical fruit flavours from the nose"
"The nose is dominated by notes of caramel, toffee and crème. On the back end of the aromas, I can detect a hint of smoke and pineapple"

Smells sweet. It is fruity, oranges, grapes and raisins with scents of chocolate and a sweet almost syrupy.
"The tasting notes on the site are very accurate vanilla, fudge/toffee sauce are noticeable as are notes of vanilla and a finish which is slightly bitter like cocoa which leaves a hit of oakiness on the taste buds. The finish is pretty short. ."

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

For my opinion. This must be a standard in every bar.
