Bacardi Carta Blanca

This is probably the most pervasive rum in the world. It's used in bars everywhere. It's probably also the rum with the highest production levels too. That's what it tastes like. A mass produced commercial drink. I doubt it ever touches a wooden barrel. Sometimes when you're drinking a daiquiri or mojito something feels a little bit off, maybe too strong, not quite the perfect blend. In many cases this is the culprit. The best way to sum this up is, always look for Havana Club instead.

This rum should be mixed with coke. Without its pure garbage.

Given the price it's awful... And even the cola doesn't fix that taste. Unfortunately very easy to find in most clubs

Don't bother. If the label did not say rum, you would mistake it for rubbing alcohol.

I hate that this is even called rum. Millions of people are judging whether or not they like rum based on this drink - and that's a shame. The aroma is one of pure grain. The drink is sterile burn. The only flavor that comes up is a chemical-like metal flavor. It reminds me of a band-aid.
