Rich straw yellow in the glass.
Multilayered and complex on the nose. Juicy ripe tropical fruit freshly fallen from the tree lies in the still dewy grass. Dark green moss infused with delicate caramel proliferates on a toasted wood.
Soft and warm on the palate. The tasty tropical fruits are married with the noble caramel. Grassy and woody notes resonate, a touch of herbs and spices swing harmoniously in the background.
The finish is really long and delicious. Sweet caramel sucked on the wood stick until only the wood is in the mouth. At the very end, a pinch of cinnamon remains on the lips.
A great Agricole that promises enjoyment. As Jagsroy mentioned, this rhum needs a long open time to develop properly. I recommend a sufficiently warm temperature of about 25 ° C. For beginners and connoisseurs, even for those who want to try it once with Rhum Agricole.

This is my second Clement rhum and I initially wasn’t fond of it. It, however, is growing on me, if you let the rhum sit in your glass for 20 minutes or so the flavours shine and I really enjoy this rhum

This is another nice XO agricole. Very reasonably priced in Taiwan around 1600NT as I remember.

The nose is very light. A bit of licorice, very herbal.

Tasting the licorice is stronger, spice, something like eucalyptus and a pleasant heat.

Finish is long, but light.

Of the three agricole XOs I've had from Martinique, they're all very unique, but perhaps this is the least complex, so I'd rank them from top to bottom as Rhum JM, Saint James, and Clement. Personally , I do not like sweet rums...agricole is not for every rum drinker.

way better than their vsop, i feel sweetness of ripe tropical fruits, taking this after
breakfast with a strong non sweetened short espresso,
ah the contrast bitter/sweet is so good, looking at the sea while sitting at the bar terrace,
thinking (sweet memories) about the trip in martinique some years ago ....

This was a disappointment for me. Maybe the batch or bottle was bad, but the taste was weird, like something chemical.

Прекрасный запах, подплавленных леденцов, спелых фруктов и общей тростниковой свежести.

I think I expected more from this bottle but maybe it’s my fault. I was hoping for a grassier nose and flavor like the Clement Premium but with more complexity due to the barrel aging. Instead of grassiness I get floral notes which are ok but not exactly what I was going for. Very similar to Rhum JM VO or XO. Not much reason to own both in my opinion.

Great sipper. No burn, sweet, and sort of funky. Would go well in a Mai Tai.

I could not drink this, the light color should have told me from the start but this just burns and taste like alcohol and that is it.

8:The nose of this rhum agricole is fresh and minty, green apple arises. It's also loaded with spices, also fresh (curry). It's complex, vegetal and decidedly fresh, like cut grass or Alpine tea. Then a lovely woodiness enters the scene. Finely spiced, it is reminiscent of a cigar box with a hint of vanilla. This woodiness grows stronger, appearing whiter and younger. The cane becomes more powerful, accompanied by its faithful white pepper. A certain naturalness is restored with this wood and fresh cane.
On aeration, sophistication returns with licorice spiked with caraway seeds. We return to the depths of the oak barrel. The woodiness is still new, but softened by honey. Its freshness now brings to mind again apple and pear.
7,8:The palate is well-balanced, typical agricole with as much room for cane as for spice and wood. A certain acidity stimulates the taste buds, which seem to deliver a sweet juice where wood and vanilla merge.
8:Finish-The spices persist, little vanilla joined in the end by past fruits, some nice peaches, licorice, that had remained discreet until then.
