8,6:On the nose, the first impression we get is roasted and vegetal, a bit spicy and fruity agricole with tea, clove, pear, mirabelle plum, peach and waxy molasses touch, caramelized. Balanced, round.
Aeration helps us digging out new notes as other baking spices, burnt sugar, the tea is black, there is chocolate, the rum is woody and juicy, delicious, as we would have a fruit compote.
8,8:On the palate, we receive a nice portion of tasty red fruits as currants, peaches and fresh vegetal tea notes with wood, going towards dryness. The molasses is sweet, syrupy and waxy, roasted, caramelized as we notice creme brulee. The clove is strong, as other baking spices stay more stealthy.
This agricole is round and complex, we taste new notes after aeration, more sweet and tasty, the tea is black, fruits are dried, we think of a fruit compote, later, when they melt, even of a fruit cake, as they might be candied also.
When well rested, some medicinal notes could be tasted and perhaps leather.
8,7:The finish is long, woody, dry with dried fruits, waxy molasses, some spices, nutty and black tea...
These days I am in fond of agricole and TDL very much🤩😋... 🙂
