Distilled by Appleton Distillery and aged 21 years in Scotland, this rum is definitely something uncommon.
You can feel caramel, vanilla and a little bit of wood smelling it.
Drinking it you can feel smoke notes, dried fruite and more wood.
It’s elegant and particular; it never feels harsh or too aggressive.
In my (limited to be honest) experience, don’t expect from it the typical Jamaica’s rum; the 21 years in Scotland made it different, unique probably.
Quite expensive and really difficult to find.
