Transcontinental Rum Line 2013 Australia 6-Year

Deep caramel on the nose light peppery burn on the taste, leather on the finish with a lingering burn in your chest. Would rate higher but even though it’s 48% abv it feels a bit watered down on the taste.

The nose is underwhelming, but on the palate is a wonderful light sweetness. The cognac cask finish is pretty subtle (honestly I just taste oak). I think bourbon drinkers would like this.
