Lots of alcohol smell yet surprisingly smooth while sipping. The smells of whiskey and rum are faint behind the alcohol. It is interesting and opens up a little after breathing but does not leave me wanting more after every sip/sniff. If they could produce it so the faint smells and flavors were more bold and cut the strong alcohol smell/taste it would be excellent. Definitely not a $90 bottle of anything. Much rather put the money towards an old faithful.
