Very nice rum. Nice notes of caramel and fruit, a little richer flavor than the XO. A hint of bitter fruit. Very mellow, with barely any harshness. Similar to the XO, maybe just a step above. The XO is probably like a 7.5, and this is a strong 8. Also a fantastic value at the Total Wine price.
My expectations were not that high at $45, but I was pleasantly surprised. Coming from Four Square Distillery, it has a nice flavor with some complexity. A little bit of burn. Definitely will buy this again.
Deep flavor , but clean and mild β oak and chocolate, vanilla
Not hot or not much
This is one of my favorites in this price range. Great taste and body, much in line with the general quality from Foursquare

Scents of bananas, tropical fruits, plums and sherry. The aroma is slightly sweet, very pleasant. I experienced a taste of honey, fruits and sherry. Strong and kicks. Pleasantly long lasting finish. Slightly naturally sweet and warm. Overall I would consider it a dry rum. For its price a real deal.
A nice smooth aged rum. I think this is a good stand alone and need not be mixed. Good flavor sans added sugar.
nose: some oak (also a little bit of bad barrel smell but not so much) and tropical fruits, some alcohol burn (let it sit in the glass 10 minutes),
in the mouth: fruity as a Bajan rum must be ! it s not so powerful and deep as the 14 but very similar ... it s dry, ok it have some natural sweetness, i ve found some chocolate too (tasting it with a Nicaraguan, medium strength cigar)
medium, warming finish
i ll give it a 9 because of that little disturbing oaky smell (very similar smell i ve found in st james xo, but that one is undrinkable), but it remains a very good rum !
i can say that bajan is my preferred rum style
Familiar notes of vanilla and light toffee/caramel.
"An initial hit of sweetness, brown sugar and a little spicy pepper is overtaken by dry oaked flavour and a nice spiced heat. The finish is very smooth and long lasting."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This is rum as rum has to be.
The right amount of sweetness, some hints from fruit.
For this price it s the best i had
