I had it once and it tastes awful ...unless you mix it with lot of coke and lime
I would not serve it to my guests

Alright for a cheap dark rum. A good mixer for the people who do not care.
Just not my rum, the original haves more taste and better toned
An easy drinking rum with coke and ice on a hot summer day. Not to be had neat as it gets to sharp.
obviously not a sipper. On the nose this rum hits you with a chockful of burnt sugar, which is quite nice. Same thing tastewise. Burnt sugar and a very little complexity if any at all, but this is expectable from a 1 YO rum.
Very good with Coke though, much better than bacardi.
Yes, if you are not against a cube libre or mojito, this rum will serve you well.
I also drink this rum on its own sometimes when i feel a little adventurously.
The price could be better as i pay 16 euro for this and for Flor De Cana 12 i paid 19,90 - and these two rums are world apart.
Only mixed drinks. I prefer Morgan Dark with cola..
Bought because OVD was out of stock. This is really nothing special. Very medicinal tasting, harsh and not particularly nice. Drunk with cola it's passable but I won't buy it again.
The rum is very pungent.
"When sipped (very cautiously) the rum just give the palate a very hot spicy peppered burn. The finish is very short and quite severe."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Decent enough rum in the mix, and pretty okay straight up. Does hint to the spiced side though.
