Captain Morgan Dark

Cant usually find decent rum around here so this is the go to as its still better than Myers. Sure everyones tried it one way or another so enough said

Nose: not much of anything. It smells like rum but does not have any nuanced complexity. On the thin palate is a taste of burned sugar but not much else. This might be ok as mix with Coke but it’s no sipping rum.

Príjemná jemná vôňa skôr sladká. Chuť jemne korenená no počase príjemná, záver dlhší, sladší. Celkom fajn

Not really, though.
Had this at a local small restaurant in Japan, specifically between Higashi Kanagawa station and Tanmachi station. No clue, right?

I always wonder how can this product command any price! There are way better products in its price range. Don't buy for personal consumption!

Heavy and unique taste not for fainthearted. You either love it or hate it. You can not mistake it for any other rum. 18 years of companionship and I wouldn't trade it to any other brand!!!

This was even worse than regular Captain Morgan spiced rum.

It did a damn good job of cleaning out my sink, it's undrinkable avoid.

The colour is nice and honestly I expected a deeper taste than the spiced rum but genuinely this is the only drink that has made me feel sick from drinking it. In my opinion this drink is ONLY good for doing shots with because not only nobody wants to drink it at all

It’s a classic and does what it sets out too. Mix it with coke and you can’t go wrong. It won’t blow you away but for the price it’s good enough. Always handy to have around for when you want a few!
