Poor rum, the cm dark spiced is way better.
Neat, over ice or with mixer its pretty useless⁹
Good for mixing, or for adding to home made ice cream to keep it from freezing solid. I like molasses and this has the taste of it, so there's that, but it's pretty weak sauce.
If it's on for a deep discount I could be persuaded to buy it, but I think I've moved beyond flavoured ethanol now that I've tried better.
Colour of old copper with a yellow rim.
Funky nose of hay, medication, tobacco and somthing that made me think of tequilla.
Soft on the palate with aroma's of bourbon and sugar cane. Absolutely not as complex as in the nose. Quite simple palate, to be honest.
Good for mixing with soft drinks
Not a good rum for drinking neat. I only use it boe cocktails
Did buy this for a longtime thinking I was drinking real rum nice sweet flavor still buying it but for in coctails
By no means the worst rum out there. However it is not the best and meant to be drank after the rest of your cabinet. Possibly better than bacardi, but still tastes synthetic.
Fine for the price but wouldn’t recommend for anything other than mixing.
Another rum for fashion coctails in summer mainstream bars
The rum is very pungent.
"When sipped (very cautiously) the rum just give the palate a very hot spicy peppered burn. The finish is very short and quite severe."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Smooth dark rum but lacks a strong finish, and doesn't have an overly complex flavour profile
