Rum for a ginger beer and lime day
This rum is perfect to mix into a dark and stormy in a tall glass
I definitely prefer this over the Kraken. Excellent over a large chunk of ice.
This grog is good straight up, on some iceberg chunks and with cola.
Some good me lovelies!
This is a decent rum. It's got clove, vanilla, molasses, and a touch of cinnamon. It reminds me a lot of eggnog, so I think this might be a great rum to use in your eggnog (though I haven't tried it).
A lot of reviewers compare this with Kraken, as this is both dark and 47%abv. And I agree with most of those reviewers that side by side the Kraken is better.
But this is definitely good. :-)
Love this one, a milder flavor than the Tattoo, really yum in a tall glass with loads of ice and coke.
Also good in Run Balls.
This rum is spicy, yet sweet. Smooth, yet harsh. This rum will put some hair on your chest. I stumbled upon this rum accidentally in search for a good mixer for some company. This has become my new advocate after a long work day. Try this rum, you will not be disappointed.
Good rum for around the campfire, but would like a little more wow in the way of the spices. I like the taste just needs more of it.
Nice daily sipper. Doesn't even taste like something alcoholic. Full vanilla liquorice flavour.
Drinking by itself the taste is kind of harsh. But I found the perfect mix recipe. Two fingers BSR, four fingers sprite, mix, stir, drink and then about 10-15 minutes later you'll feel pretty special. Two glasses of this and you will feel like joining Timothy Leary and Andy Warhol in a discussion of altered states.I highly recommend this recipe and only with Black spiced rum. I've tried others and the recipe doesn't quite feel right/the same. I wish the bottle was more like Pyrat, like the style of bottle ships captains used back in the day, but it serves its purpose.
"vanilla flavour is there but is mixed with a little Black Cherry and caramel"

"rich clove spice and premium cassia bark"

There is a little hint of clove and nutmeg present on the nose as well but predominantly it is sweet vanilla. .
"This is a very sweet drink. The rum burns a little on exit but after a few sips the burn subsides. There is a little hint of oaked ageing in the aftertaste."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This another good mixing rum for parties. It really burns when drinking it straight.
