Nose - exceptionally pleasing with a robust flavor that justifies its price.
Palate - A rollercoaster of sensations with mixed emotions: a delightful and robust, flavorful beginning reminiscent of Jamaican Rums. Shortly thereafter, a powerful peppery taste takes center stage, fading rapidly but leaving behind a satisfying aftertaste. The mouthfeel is not smooth, rather dynamic. In my opinion, it requires more balance from start to finish. With that being said, perhaps the sherry finish doesn't complement the Dictador flavor as well.
I would not be willing to spend more than 70 Euros on the rum; however, it is priced at over 110 Euros. Expected more in the price category.
