Rum z čisté šťávy cukrové třtiny zrál 7 let v sudech po brandy z Madeiry.
Vyrobeno bylo 3652 lahví.

Aroma: Hezky pronikavé - shnilá jablka, travnatost, bylinky, pikantní vanilka, spálený karamel, kořenitost (pepř). Na pozadí mikro závan alkoholu.
Chuť: Domácí pálenka s příměsí travnatosti a pepře. Po chvíli štípe a pálí.
Dozvuk: Pálenka, spousta medu a travnatosti se špetkou koření a sušeným ovocem (meruňky, křížaly).

This rum, a 970 Madeira Brandy Cask, is produced by Engenhos do Norte in Madeira. It’s a 7yo Brut de Fut distilled in 2016 produced in a total of 3652 numbered bottles.
The aroma is quite intense and burnt rubber dominates but it’s also spicy and fruity with hints of wood.
In mouth and at the palate it tastes very much like the described aromas above, but I also detected notes of vanilla, chocolate and some Brandy.
During the medium long finish it was also rather dry.
Overall a quite interesting Agricole that’s very different from the Caribbean Agricole’s.
