this spirit is very good, while sipping, you don t feel it have 59% ABV, it s very smooth ...
ok it s strong yes but a very pleasant experience ...
aroma is the best in theis rum, banana and chewing gum notes ...
in the mouth, oak is predominant and some vanilla (ex bourbon barrels) and chocolate,
medium finish of white fruits (peach, apricot ...)
spent 99 euro for this bottle, i wanted that my first australian rum is a good one, my rating is 9.5 !
excellent when paired with a full body cigar ...

Zvláštnosti destilace a fermentace jsou úplně shodné jako u Beenleight 2015 Desert Ageing.
Aroma: Pronikavé, ostřejší, štiplavé - parfémovost, květiny, ovocná šťavnatost (kiwi).
Chuť: Ovocná, trpce medová, po chvíli velmi štiplavá.
Dozvuk: Kyselé ovoce (jablka, hrušky) v alkoholu, dřevo a decentní pepřovitost. Dlouhý.
Sladkost: 0/3
Ochutnán vzorek
Po porovnání s poznámkami Beenleigh 2015 je ročník 2013 velmi podobný. A stejně dobrý.

Interesting. Not really what I was expecting. Notes of red wine and cognac on the finish. This rum makes me want to start exploring rums from Australia. Tropical climate, check. I'm not sure where the wine notes come from, that's probably a detractor for me, but otherwise pretty solid stuff. Didn't even realize this was 59% when I tried it.
