Samaroli Yehmon Classic Blended Edition 2022 9-Year

Samaroli Yehmom classic is a blend of 2007 Demerara and 2010 Barbados, bottled in 2022.
It was my first rum and I used to drink whisky.
I tried three bottles of the Yehmom Classic.

The first time I tried it was mind blowing.
Nosing: Gimmari (It is a snack which is a fried seaweed roll), hints of tobacco and hazelnut. The fragrance is elegant and rounded.
Palate: Instantly, I got liquorice milk candy, toffee. The body is creamy and mild. And it got a long after taste.
I will give 9/10 to the first bottle I tried.

However, the second bottle has more alcohol irritation. Not that milk like as the first one. The third bottle got the worst performance. It is spicy and oaky. It tasted like a very young rum.

I owned the third bottle and I guess the reason is mainly bottle ageing (or oxidation). Since the first bottle had been opened a year, and the third bottle was just opened.

So overall, I will rate 7/10. And suggested to let the bottle open for a while.

8,8:On the nose, this bouquet floods our nose at first through chocolate, banana, black cherry, almond and dried fruits. If we wait just a few moments, other species emerge, roasted palate with maple syrup, forest fruits, pastry, and minty and medicinal hints.
8,8:The palate is enveloping: an echo with more balsamic notes despite the predominance of tobacco, vanilla, banana and liquorice, yeasty notes, integral confectionery. Full of rhythm, brings us some perfumed notes, forest fruits - blue berries, is buttery, with its complexity and its capacity for fulfillment.Becomes dry later on.Very tasty and round.
8,2: The finish is medium with some fruity sweetness, some oak, dry.
Short:Bit funky, balsamic, esters on the nose, palate, finish. 2007/2010 Blend, very drinkable, milky, tropical fruits. Rare:734 bottles. Bottled in 2022
