Schönes klares Bernstein im Glas.
In der Nase wild und fruchtig. Wie ein reichhaltiges Dessertbuffet, tropische, subtropische und kontinentale Früchte wie Banane, Ananas, Papaya, Mango, Physalis, Melone, Birnen, Quitten und natürlich Wildkirschen bestimmen das Bild. Karamellcreme mit Karamellsirup Dekor, kleine Vanillebrötchen mit Marzipanstücklein auf leicht harzigen Hölzern, mauritische Gewürze und Kräuter verbinden das Ganze.
Am Gaumen warm und voll. All die reifen Früchte, das aromatische Karamell, das Marzipan - Vanille Combo und die würzigen Kräuter reiben sich lustvoll an den Geschmacksknospen. Aber der Dominator ist eindeutig die Wildkirsche die mit ihrem süss/saurem Aroma dem Ganzen einen edlen Körper verleiht. Holztöne und Harze halten sich eher zurück spielen aber dennoch eine wichtige Rolle.
Im Abgang lang und vielschichtig. Vanille und Karamell verlassen zuerst die Präsentation gefolgt von den Früchten. Die Hölzer kommen nochmals in Aktion und spielen ihre Trümpfe aus, doch am Schluss obsiegt die wilde Kirsche und herrscht auf immer.
Ein fantastischer Rum mit einem sehr eigenen Profil. Für Geniesser, Fortgeschrittene und alle Süssrum Trinker die mal was "süsses" ohne zugesetzten Zucker geniessen wollen.
Als krönender Abschluss für meine 8. Rumrunde.

Wild and fruity on the nose. Like a rich dessert buffet, tropical, subtropical and continental fruits such as banana, pineapple, papaya, mango, physalis, melon, pears, quince and of course wild cherries dominate the picture. Caramel cream with caramel syrup decor, small vanilla buns with pieces of marzipan on slightly resinous woods, Mauritian spices and herbs combine the whole.
Warm and full on the palate. All the ripe fruit, aromatic caramel, marzipan - vanilla combo and spicy herbs rub lustily against the taste buds. But the dominator is clearly the wild cherry which, with its sweet/sour aroma, gives the whole a noble body. Wood tones and resins are rather restrained but still play an important role.
The finish is long and complex. Vanilla and caramel leave the presentation first followed by the fruits. The woods come into action again and play their trump cards, but in the end the wild cherry prevails and rules forever.
A fantastic rum with a very individual profile. For connoisseurs, advanced and all sweet rum drinkers who want to enjoy something "sweet" without added sugar.
