This is probably the finest rum I have come across so far. Super funky, full flavored and delicious. Simply a flavor bomb with incredible complexity. Everytime I nose and taste this rum, I get a different experience of flavors. A wonderful product.
That said, this certainly isn't for everyone. I have shared this bottle (and other Hampdens) with friends who are established whiskey drinkers and many were not into it; it is just too funky and aggressive for some. All told, I will continue to buy these at every chance I get, but these high esther Hampdens are certainly not for everyone.
