Nice fruity nose, enjoyable. It’s a little hot for me, but relatively easy to sip on “despite” the Jamaican funk which I’m so-so on in general.

Taste to me has a lot of banana and cashews, finish is short with a late punch is spice. A tart aspect comes through that I don’t enjoy.

Wish the bottle said a little more about the actual rum inc age statement of some kind…

Slight Jamaican funk on the nose, banana fig and honey notes on the taste. Finish has a slight burn with fruity bitterness that lasts a bit. Would bet they sourced this from Hampden but no info on the label

10:On the nose, it's toffee, graham crackers, smores, apricot pastry, sweet spices, but first green banana, green apple, grassy, becoming overripe with other rotten, overripe fruit on top, melting into a nice, yummy marmelade, but no gasoline or glue.Estery, poisonous! Round and balanced...I don't where from, but some agricole notes also.
10:On the palate we find plenty of great dried fruits, giving us jammy taste in pastries. Some caramel but with some nice funk, tropical fruits, some flowery touch after a while .
10: The finish is quite briny, salty, similar to a Guyana wooden still, where we get lots of pure cane juice. There's also some nice spiciness, tropical fruits, quite tannic on the finish and dry, but very pleasant. After some time, I even tasted some lime peel. It cries for more, more and never this orgasmic experience to end.
10/10
On the nose, palate and finish, this rum is perfectly balanced, straight from the nose, of course tipically Jamaican, lot's of esters, even salty! Just smelling and smelling is very enjoyable, it continuous on palate and finish, no left or right, it stays on and on and it lingers for a long after the sip... Sweet poison.
Read the description, it nails it!

There is not much to go on researching this rum. Bottled in Scotland is about all you get and some tale of Ancient Rome. Light yellow color strong Hogo funky smell immediately makes me think Jamaica. I’m thinking either Hampden or Long Pond, which is not my cup of tea. This not a bad rum at all it’s just not what I prefer. Still it was a nice birthday present to rate #463
