Got a sample of this rum from RumX. It’s a blend of two Foursquare barrels from 2005 respectively 2007 tropical aged for at least 11years whereafter it’s transported to Scotland and there blended and aged some more time.
In nose it’s fruity, spicy and woody with aromas of vanilla, caramel and banana.
In mouth and at the palate it’s also fruity, spicy and woody but also with a certain sweetness with tastes of vanilla, coconut and caramel.
The final is long and elegant with tastes of vanilla and caramel.
Overall a very elegant and round rum.
