Engenhos da Calheta Aguardente de Cana

Tasted on 11-18-23 thanks to Admiral Bill who brought this back from the Distillery. Pours clear. Wonderful aroma of rising bread dough. Very yeasty. Strong up front burn gives way quickly to a mellow corn-like sweetness. A couple drops of water and this explodes with a honey sweetness. Really fantastic.
