Cane Island Venezuela 8-Year

Hits you as bit ethanol-esque with plum and astringent. Finishes like leather and dark chocolate. Young at eight years and could probably use aging in another cask to give it some extra character. I am not disappointed however I am not overly pleased.

I liked the Cane Island Thailand 5 better. Nothing jumped out at me here. A little bit of molasses, and more burn than I would have liked. I guess keep it straight, as mixed was meh.

Too sweet, a bit watered down and bitter finish, smooth though. Stick to santa teresa
