Destilováno / Nalahvováno: 2005 / říjen 2022

Rum z čisté šťávy cukrové třtiny zrál 16 let v amer. dubových sudech a 1 rok v sudech z francouzského dubu. Zrání probíhalo v Marseille v provozovně Ferroni.

Aroma: Vanilka, bbq omáčka, chilli omáčka, opálené dřevo, rozinky, snad i špetka skořice.
Chuť: Prvních pár sekund hutná sladkost, která přechází v kořenitou pálivost. Po chvíli % alkoholu doslova řežou.
Dozvuk: Grepová hořkost a poté nálož sušeného ovoce, portský výluh (rozinky) se mísí s dřevitostí. Dlouhý.
Sladkost: 1/3
Ochutnán vzorek
Velmi zajímavý rum. Parádní "grilovací" vůně, nasládlá chuť, která se po chvíli změní v inferno koření a komplexní závěr, kde jsem tipoval finiš po portském. Lahev zvažuji.

A small but expensive aged rum (got a reasonable €80 deal from Belgium, tho'), comes in extremely cute bottling. Super dark, chocolate-winey color challenges you to purchase the damn thing.
Relatively original and characteristic taste - one of these "chocolate-tobacco-raisins" smokey rums with hints of cocoa, raisings, coffee? and lemon fruits. Appears sweet in the start but has VERY sour palate and finish! Honestly, a lil' bit too much for a general drinkers... But the rum overall feels full with "just" 55% ABV.
G. Ferroni, an interesting player on a rum-map, following your lingering 'round the world on FB already, yey.
UPDATE: easily my worst Ferroni so far. For €80+ it's just not worth the money. Good as curiousity or small sample only, for prevalent sourness which is annyoing and probably not very good for your stomach.
