Transcontinental Rum Line French West Indies VO 4-Year

I want to like this, but can't. If ind agricoles are often quite fresh, but this one is more smokey. It has a slight sweetness, but I don't think they go together.

Perhaps it gets better (this is my second/third time trying it), but I just can't seem to like it. if I want something whiskey like, then go wih Mount Gay or Foursquare. If you want proper agricole go Rhum JM, and I've heard good things about La Favorite.

I give it a 4, because to me, 5 is neutral, neither here nor there, but this taste doesn't work for me, it's a bit weird, so I have to give it less.
