Rum byl destilován v roce 2020 ze šťávy cukrové třtiny (Mark ARC) a poté zrál 2 roky v panenských dubových sudech.
Vyrobeno bylo 320 lahví

Aroma: Sladká BBQ omáčka, slaný karamel, závan grilovaného masa, na pozadí stopa lékařské dezinfekce.
Chuť: Velmi dřevitá, benzínová, pikantní a stopově kouřová.
Dozvuk: Grilované maso, pikantní koření, opálené dřevo. Na úplný závěr třešně v alkoholu. Dlouhý.
Sladkost: 0/3
Ochutnán vzorek, celá lahev
Narozdíl od Ghany z portfolia Rom de Luxe mě belgické provedení posadilo na zadek. Jakoby se člověk při pití ocitl na grilovačce. Po vzorku byla lahev jasná.

Somewhat hidden rum, indie-bottled in Benelux, hard to find a decent info about, or a review. Wasn't available in my country (Czech Rep.) so got to snatch it from France.
This is a pure rum somewhat reminding Central European distillates from plums or pears. The nose is generally sweet and very fresh, with predominant sugar cane and fruits but I've hard time to determine what I actually smell (but it smells pleasantly). There are noticeable herbal and technical tones. For sure not among the greatest bodies I had but a quality rum impossible to mistake with other rum.
Taste, well, nothing to compare with for me (which is good as we don't want to pay such money for something seen 1000 times, don't we?). For 67 ABV the rum is awesomely pure and generally sweet or semi-sweet. Fruity and warming. No signs of boredom, no over-smokiness or over-spiciness to destroy the experience and hide the lack of production finesse. Super smooth rum as, heh, don't ask what!
I would compare it to Mhobas, not nose or taste but similar originality and purity. Africa, what a pleasant surprise you are.
