Light brown with Amber notes.
Nose of brown sugar toasted bread and some mint chocolate connotations.
Taste is sweet oaky vanilla and is a liquid desert for grown ups.

Exquisite, smooth with a luxurious depth. A rum connoisseur's delight.

Vanilla, caramel, cocoa, orange peel and almonds in aroma; caramel, honey, bitter pepper finish; decent heating tail.

7:The nose has a jammy sweetness of orange peel and mild spices, like a liqueur. There's also a hint of cake dough, with a buttery, sandy feel, like a cinnamon and cardamom cookie.
With aeration, a hint of coffee aroma emerges, adding a little more depth. The cookie is spicier and more toasted, but the vanilla and sweet orange flavors continue to ensure a delicious finish.
7,5:The palate is very sweet, even liquorish, and the pastry profile of this rum bonbon is immediately apparent. Sweet spices and cake batter take shape on the palate, with a very gourmand and round thickness. Vanilla and orange liqueur flow slowly and abundantly, until they coat the whole taste bud.
7,2:The finish is very round, giving way to slightly roasted spices and a touch of liquorice.

I have almoust all A.H. Riise in my collection . All from Non Plus Ultra And recently I got Celebration one . And I have to admit that Gallante is my favourit . I already have 3rd bottle . Most important is to open bottle and keep it open over the night . And you must drink it from wide glass where it can breath . If you do this then you will be awarded by smooth and rich flavour which will force you to close your eyes and enyjoing the moment of this rum .

There is no dive in this rum so heres my try.

Nose - Sweet, very gentle oragne peel in front. In background hints of vanilla and chocolate. Interestingly, the taste does not reflect the smell at all.

Palete - Very sweet. Smooth. Prominent black tea with honey, like making tea in the morning, forgetting about it and drinking it cold in the afternoon. This is exactly what I imagine first. Followed by melted sugar, tobacco and leather. Very bitter ending with peppery finish.

This is not my idea of ​​what rum should taste like.

The scent of the LaGalante is very similar to other rums from the Non Plus Ultra family. Taste is a bit different. There is no trace of chocollate or vanilla. First experience is typical A.H. Riise but then it gets very fruity savor.

Not bad but hard to find the flavor profile with this one. It's really sweet candy like rum. Not a strong smell.
