This Montebello Rhum Ambré 50% from the Carrère distillery in Guadeloupe is aged for 2 years in oak barrels before bottled.
The aroma is a little bit alcoholic otherwise the aromas and tastes is fruity, vegetal, spicy and with hints of licorice which is typical for Rhum Montebello.
It’s also quite sweet, actually the sweetest Montebello I’ve ever tasted.
Besides the above I also recognize Chocolate, Caramel and Orange.
The finish is medium long.
