Tento sladký rum má zajímavou chuť . Má ořechové, kouřové a mírně ovocné tóny .Z mého pohledu byla přidána spousta umělých ořechových příchutí.

Blue Mauritius Gold is a molasses-distilled rum from the island of Mauritius. The golden yellow rum is a blend of different distillates. The exact age is not known. The rum is diluted to a classic 40% and bottled in a nice bottle.

The Blue Mauritius is very nutty in the nose. Some dried fruit, wood, caramel and also spices resonate. Nutmeg is also included. That is quite good. The same aromas continued on the palate with a clear hazelnut note. Thick and sweet with caramel and vanilla it has a creamy impression. The finish is not very long and the slight sharpness is captured by barrel notes and some fruit.

I'm honest. I don't like the rum. I've drunk it several times now and the strong hazelnut note is not for me. It also feels sweetened. Not a bad rum but also not a particularly good one, unless you like hazelnut liqueur.

Der Blue Mauritius Gold ist ein aus Melasse destillierter Rum von der Insel Mauritius. Der gold gelbe Rum ist ein Blend verschiedener Destillate. Das genaue Alter ist nicht bekannt. Der Rum wird auf klassische 40% verdünnt und in eine schicke Flasche abgefüllt.

Der Blue Mauritius ist sehr nussig in der Nase. Etwas Trockenobst, Holz, Karamel und auch Gewürze schwingen mit. Muskatnuss ist denke ich auch dabei. Hier ist der Rund Interessant. Am Gaumen setzten sich die gleichen Aromen fort. Eine deutliche Haselnuss Note ist dabei prägnant. Eine leicht süffige Süße mit Karamel und Vanille untermalen den cremigen Eindruck. Der Abgang ist nicht sehr lang und die leichte Schärfe wird von Fassnoten und etwas Frucht eingefangen.

Ich bin ehrlich. Ich mag den Rum nicht. Ich habe ihn nun mehrfach getrunken und die starke Haselnuss Note ist nichts für mich. Außerdem wirkt er gesüßt und ist mir zu süffig. Kein schlechter Rum aber auch kein besonders guter, außer man mag gerne Haselnuss Likör.

Hořká čokoláda, sladká nepalciva chuť, bez ocasu, velice delikátní. Trošku kokosu mi tam taky přišlo, ale jen okrajicek. Tohle je luxus, který chceš pít každý den.

Mírně sladší, jemný, s burbounovým závěrem. Pravidelně se k němu vracím, skvěle vyvážený, neobyčejný, balancující mezi ostřejší klasikou a přeslazenou exotikou. Za mě na vrcholu z cca 50 vzorků, které jsem chutnal.
