Funky, very riped fruits, molases in aroma; sweet start, olives and mineral middle and tobacco finish in the body; slowly warming tail.

Tasted at Archipelago DC on 5/20/23. Clear in color. Had this side by side with the Upper. Incredible aroma. Big bread dough with no strangeness. Yum. A lovely honeysuckle sweetness emerges to the taste. Smooth and quaffable. Sooooo much better than the Upper. Delicious.

Tried side by side with the Lake Antoine Upper, I think I prefer this expression. Both are from the same general area of Grenada, and reminiscent of a clairin or Cachaça. This one has more olive and minerality to my palate, with enough sweetness to make it easy drinking at 100 proof.
