Real McCoy Single Blended 12-Year

It's not sweet. I like sweet but I still like this one. It tastes natural.

There is very little burn in sipping this and it has a toasted oaky vanilla flavor that comes through. It's not as bold as Doorly's 12 year which has a more dominant copper and aged fruit like flavor. IMO it doesn't have that coppery like flavor of rl seales 10 yr or Doorly's of any kind. It's smooth on the throat for sure and definitely woody w some brown sugar. It's like an unsugared and smoother Pampero Aniversario RE. This has sweet wet oak flavor and pretty sharp tannins that are different from other foursquare offerings, I love it. Update: just tasted this after tasting Don Q Anejo and the toasted cocunut flavor of this rum becomes highly noticeable, smooth and delicious, gotta drink it straight!

I really enjoyed this rum. It felt super real to me. Somehow knowing that no sugar was added to this to make it sweet and that every drop in the bottle is at least 12 years old just adds to the experience.

Ikke lige min smag, men smagte bestemt ikke grimt. Men er mere til deres 5 års.

For the price, this is a great value rum. An easy sipping rum with great flavour and depth, its not gonna blow your mind. But this is a 12yr old with quality, that would otherwise cost you much more.

This is a nice sipper neat. Not overly sweet, only natural sweetness. Great rum mouth feel.

Dufter meget som Eldorado 12 som mit Ummidelbart førstehåndsindtryk. Efter lidt længere tid med næsen i glasset finder jeg følgende: citrus, vanilje, kokos, egetræsfad som bliver helt nøddeagtig i næsen.
Smagen er temmelig sprittet men utrolig sød til at det er en rom som ikke er tilsat sukker. Der er utrolig meget fad smag. Som snævrer mundhulerne helt ind til Kindbenet.
