Malteco 10-Year

Not as complex as the rest of the family, but in this price range its PERFECT. All the typical rum flavours, great color, needs time to breath as it's a bit harsher than the older ones, yet not unpleasant to drink.

This is a great sipper!

On the nose I smell vanilla and sweetness, when I taste it is neutral to sweet with a hint if vanilla and it goes down smooth.

If I could I would rate this a 7,5 but because the price quality I will rate it a 8 here. This one sits among the Abuelo's 7y and 12y if you ask me.

Pekná fľaša aj s krabicou, príjemná nevtieravá sladká vôňa, chuťovo ma však tento rum nijako nezaujal. Do miešaných drinkov bude fajn.

Dit is vast een goede rum. Maar voor mij is er teveel toegevoegd. Er overheerst een smaak van te donker gebrande koffie, caramel. Die hoek. Hij is ook erg donker, dus zal bijgekleurd zijn. Klopt ook met het smaakpallet. Zoet, daardoor zijn de smaken afgevlakt, verscholen.
Geen slechte keus, maar om te mixen kun je goedkoper kopen, om straight te drinken geef je beter een paar euro meer uit.

Mile mě překvapilo, že to není přeslazené. Panáka jsem vypil z druhým jsem už měl problém.

Reminds a bit of Don Papa but with less character. Smooth, a bit on the sweeter side. Considering it's price range - a super choice of a solid, almost "premium feel" rum - excellent value for money.
