Nose: Rich muscovado sugar and sun-dried lumber. The typical Caroni rubber tires are there but easily presents more as charred meat, coconut, and oiled leather. There are nice soft wafts of chili peppers and molasses.
Palate: It comes in hot and oily. I wonder if being unfiltered is even partly responsible for that. The flavors are similar to the nose but are present without much development. Varnish, cacao nibs, rubber tires, tobacco, and a dash of oyster sauce.
Finish: Drying, especially on the lips. Bitter oak and white smoke. Medium-length.
