Bombarda Formidable 18-Year

Sugar: Estimated at 12 GPL. Good presentation and a unique bottle design. Nice colour,but that's not what is important. It's an over proof rum and it's got quite a deep burn straight up. Nice aroma and the dominant flavours I detected were oak and honey. I put this over ice and it tastes like a bourbon, which is understandable as it's aged in Boubon casks. At $80 a bottle it's too expensive to be used as a mixer. It's a decent sipper over ice especially if you are a bourbon drinker.

Think foursquare but for mortals bottled at 40ish abv instead of 60s. Thought it was a jamaican pot still for a second with a bit of agricole funk but bottle says barbados.
