Having been disappointed by the Punta Cana Tesoro, I was sceptic. But this is a true gem. Powerful and complex with an almost reddish color from the port casks.

Rich aromas of caramel, vanilla, chocolate, and moss. The palate unveils roasted apples, tropical fruits, and dark wood. A long, sweet finish with hints of leather and tobacco.

I saved it for a more special occasion and it was worth it. I would say quite intense but at the same time soft. A very beautiful bottle.

Cocoa, caramel, vanilla and barrel in generally harder aroma; lighter chocolate, salt caramel and small burn in the end in the body, woody barrel taste on the sides; very decent tail.

Jedná se o výroční rum, který byl vyroben v limitované edici 1000 - 3000 lahví na oslavu 50. výročí imigrace rodiny Oliver do Dom. Republiky.

Jedná se o blend až 25 let starých rumů, které zrály v sudech po bourbonu a na závěr v sudech po portském.

Aroma: Vanilka, skořice, v pozadí lehce opálená koženka.
Chuť: Sladké dřevo, skořice, pikantní koření.
Dozvuk: Sladký, lehce kořenitý, do rozinek (portské je znát). Středně dlouhý.

Srovnával jsem společně s dalšími "Olivery" Presidente Marti 15 y a 19y a oba byly lepší, výraznější a navíc za poloviční cenu. Na to, co Puntacana slibuje jsem očekával o něco víc. Průměr.

Chuť nasládlá, kořenitá, výrazně čokoládová, přechází do vanilky, portského, dubu, lehce pepře.
