After few minutes of breathing, the aroma is light, with grass tones. First taste is big kick of fruits and flowers (almost like some aged agricole) then the body will finaly show you some "light version" of typical ester funky jamaica and aftertaste will be again full of fruits and flowers. Higher level of alcohol is helping to maintain the aftertaste for long time.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

18y of tropical aging + 1y in France, no additives, 51.6° proof, 0.7L, medium dark. Cask N04.
Be careful, you don't what to destroy your nose if sniffed straight from the bottle. Alcohol is harsh and feels not natural. Burns more than their OFTD 69. Lets it breath for 10 min at least :) and keep out wife, she may pour it into the sink :)
Then the bouquet of Jamaican funk opens up. A lot of fruits, dried, rape fruits, papaya on palate and in aftertaste stays forever. Not a smoky-oaky (or just a note), like expected from that old drink.
Minus one point due to glue alcohol and second because for the same money we can buy 1.875L of Appleton 12, drink it straight from the bottle and party party party all the time :)
