Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

I'm by no means a pro ...(have tasted 400+rums ) but I'm always drunk ...
Poured to let it breathe and the room is filled with butterscotch and bourbon smells . Genuinely could smell it from my kettle which is about 3m away.
Raisens ,caramel follow on the nosing of it , pecans, slight acetone and heavy cask .
2nd nosing banana and chocolate ( I know my brain is going nuts)
I'm going in ...tatsing over about 5 minutes ..
Front of tongue woody cask and the raisen note .
.
mid pallette rum and raisen now fills my whole mouth at a high strength ..
The finish is looooonnnggg with that vendome cask wow ...
Now added an ice cube (sacrilege I know) but find the ice changes the dimension of the drink
Renosing changes to a sweetness of a bourbon cask , the ice has brought out the cask notes
Ice kills the front pallette taste but from middle onwards takes you on a journey of a stunner of a rum caramel , toffees ,RUM in huge quantities ...
Being honest on its own I struggle with more than 3 of these (I'm an overproof fanatic and most of my r drunk is over 50%) .... With ice I could sit and drink all evening ... I'm quickly hiding the bottle
I'm even sucking the ice cube left in the glass
Couple of drops of water and Swil next time
Better than anything I have ever tasted from St Lucia
