Izalco 2005 Cask Strength 15-Year

Fruity nose, very unique lots of cherries. Quite a first sour hit dissipates quickly. Turns into melon, not much spice but intense feel. Long lingering finish. Didn’t like at first, but the uniqueness grew on me during the tasting.

Nice amber color, a blend of several Caribbean rums aged 15 years. Nose is smooth but taste burned like hell. Let’s give it a few and try again. Ok this one needs an ice cube no getting past the burn, definitely not a Foursquare. Tamed it down a bit but nothing special going on here might as well be drinking Barbocourt.

Perfume burn on nose, peppery sweetness on the taste with a strong finish that burns more than it should, its like an angry rum that escaped from a volcano.

Ganske ok rom, lidt skarp i smagen men ikke dårlig

A little pricy for the flavor go back to the 10 year for better price and flavor
