I was really excited to taste this rum, i don’t know what i expected of this, but it did not quite live up to my expectation. You can definitely sense the high alcohol ABV 75.5 in nose and taste. Slight Appleton notes, besides alcohol. The nose is quite good. It does not come up from the glass as expected, I sense alcohol, vanille and fruity. After an hour it become a bit more pleasant. But the taste is too heavy on alcohol and aftertaste is a bit dry/bitter on alcohol. Fun to try, but I don’t think I would try it again, therefore a BIG 7.9.
