The nose is a little bit dark. It's more on the dry fruit side, the column still is clearly the distillation method here. I get dry fruits, caramel, then some sour notes, hazelnut (that reminds me of Foursquare rum) and vanilla.
Deeper in the glas some wood and earth, also some cocoa. Nothing special there but not bad overall.
I would gues it's a Foursquare in a blind tasting.
The taste starts with dry fruits, hazelnut, burned sugar, wood and spiiiice at the end. A little bit too spicy for my liking in this early stage. In the middle I get the same notes with more vanilla and the finish is also the same.
It's a good column still rum, but it doesn't surprise me. I would rate this one with 85 points.
