This is Havana showing off a floral citrus rum that then turns sour ... An interesting experimental rum

This is the third of four Edition Professional a collaboration with rum master Asbel Morales and Cuban bar entrepreneurs. A blend of young aromatic aguardiente white rum and and older rums aged up to 12 years. First sip neat was hot and strong of alcohol (50%), added an ice cube significant floral notes and a lot of depth. Color pale yellow / light gold makes me think the blend consist heavier of the young white rum.

I’m going to call this a cocktail mixer would make a great Ruhm punch, with soda water lime, possibly a touch simple syrup. Very unique , not my typical rum but would be great for summertime spritzers.
