I honestly think this is the worst rum I have ever drank. I had high hopes, as I'm a fan of El Dorado, which is also from the Diamond Distillery, but this honestly just tastes like whiskey to me.
There's a strong taste of leather and very little else but burn. Not what I was expecting at all.
Very disappointed. Get 2/10 because it could taste like nice whiskey. No idea, I'm a rum drinker.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

I've just discovered "That Boutique-y Rum Company" from a couple of their release being in this years advent calendar and I have to say so far I'm very impressed. This limited release was distilled in Guyana and aged in bourbon casks so it has a very woody nose and taste. You also get some dried fruit and tea on the nose as well. Even though its ABV is 55.6% it goes down quite nicely with hints of chocolate and and bananas. The more I sample this company the more I'm intrigued by what they do and will continue to seek out other releases.
