This is a very high alcoholic young drink with a strong burn, of course, and a vodka-like pure alcoholic taste (in a good way). Surprisingly there is no long aftertaste that will linger on for more than 15 seconds. Added to this are sweet notes of caramel in the end. Nice to have such an honest friend in the cupboard.
Good rum with some strange after taste, apparently from cascs, that were preserving. Still recommending.
A nice smoke & dried fruit aroma to begin with quickly hits to burn your nostrils but in a pleasent way. Tastes of sweet honey mixed into strong spirit with some smoke? For alcohol this strong it has a very smooth finish and pleasant aftertaste
Nose
Caramel , chocolate , Demerara rum ,
Taste
Acetone , nail polish , sugar , orange , apple
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This one is a blend of rum from Guyana, Trinidad and Barbados while the older one with the blue label just have rum from Guyana and Trinidad in the blend.
Both this aren’t produced anymore. Today there’s another green label at 75,5% that’s the Overproof rum from Pusser’s. That rum just contains rum from Guyana and is called Select Aged 151.
In nose as well as on the palate and during the rather long finish the burnt Demerara sugar dominates, but it’s also possible to detect toffee and hints fruits and coffee. Besides this it’s quite spicy with some sweetness.
Overall I think it’s balanced and smooth.
