Color is nice aroma is overwhelming taste is smooth not too harsh hints of peach like label describes price is ok any more expensive wouldn't be worth it
A bit painful but better than I thought it would be for an Appleton. Astringent but bearable with a vegetative taste but not complex. Alright for mixing.
Not so great sipping rum, not very refined, better for mixing imo.
I don't use this rum as a sipper, but it is my go-to for Mai Tai's and a few other concoctions when I have guests. It's good for the price and is solid when combined with other specific rums. Nothing bad, nothing exceptional. Just a simple middle of the road reliable rail rum that has its uses.
I expected more from the Appleton’s Estate Signature vs other Appleton’s. Nicely complex. A bit too sharp and molasses.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

I'll bump this one up on my personal list after broadening my Jamaican horizons. While not as robust as the 8 year, the funk and spicy burn is still there, and that's something that I've come to like.
This is probably going to be my go-to rack-grade rum when I want something that I won't feel heretical for mixing in cola or gingerale
