The bottle is nicely designed, and I appreciate the cork stopper, which is not typically seen on such cheap rums.
The color and smell are pleasant as well, with notes of caramel and slight woodiness.
Taste-wise, you have to keep in mind that this is one of the cheapest (proper) rums that you can get. You can certainly feel that unpleasant alcohol finish that lingers on the floor of your mouth. That said, the rum is thick in texture and hides interesting taste notes of oranges, green apples and vanilla. It is not a very complex rum but fine for sipping.
Aftertaste does not last long.
In conclusion, the rum is good for its price and certainly better than rums like Captain Morgan which are in the same price category. It is also slightly better than its main competitor - Heffron 5y.

The smell and taste is typical Bozkov spices although it is made in Slovakia, quite a lot of sugar added, at the end of the taste, there is also a hint of rum after all. The smell is nothing much, the taste is better, but also nothing I would spend the money again. Tasted only one shot.

Nut bad, but still not very tasty rum. Just cheap booze.

Slovenský rum, který je cenově srovnatelný s levnými českými rumy. O to víc mě ale překvapila jeho slušná chuť.

Ucházející rum za dobrou cenu, láhev s krokem. Chuť je sladší a dle mého lepší než vůně.

Další pokus o napodobeninu rumu Republica.
Ale proč ne dá se. Je vidět že se výrobci snaží.

Kúpil som ho s vedomím, že sa jedná o slovenský rum - bol som zvedavý. Po ochutnávke som však zostal prekvapený. Rum je sladší a ľahko sa prehĺta. Po prehltnutí zostáva v ústach dlhá príjemná dochuť po whisky. Dobre chutí samotný aj bez ľadu. Oceňujem dizajn fľaše s korkovým štupľom, ktorý ma presvedčil tento rum kúpiť.

Tento rum jsem zakoupil v jednom obchodním domě v akci, tak aby stál co nejméně. Nebyla v tom lakota, ale názory diskutujících v jedné skupině zabývající se rumy na facebooku. Povětšinou tam sklízel negativní reakce a posměch lidí, co si hrají na znalce, když si mohou dovolit několikanásobně dražší rumy. První ochutnávka byla opravdu nic moc, nevěděl jsem co si mám myslet hlavně o vůni, která se linula ze sklenice. Něco mezi hnijící trávou a chemičkou na konci města. Chuť byla podstatně příjemnější jako vůně. Nebylo to nic extra, trochu sladší, podobně jako Heffron, ale ne tak moc po karamelu. Navíc jsem tam cítil nějakou ostrou pachuť. Teď jsem po více jak dvou měsících v polovině láhve a začíná mi chutnat. Chuť je podobná některým podstatně dražším rumům, se kterými se může rovnat.

V tejto cenovke - je to lepsi priemer, priamy konkurent pre Hefron , Republicu a Jogailu. V ramci tejto cenovej je u mna prva volba Hefron pre jeho vonu a nasladlejsiu chut, ktoru mam rad. Ale ako druha volba by bol tento Professore.

In this price category - its better average, direct competitor for Hefron /CZ/, Republica /CZ/ and Jogaila /SK/. From this price category - Hefron is the best one for me, better smell and much more sweet taste / i like it /. Second choice could be this Professore.
