A really really good rum. Rich, soft, powerful, complex. The nose has a rich floral/herbal sweetness to it, while the palate has a wonderful earthiness. Quite expensive but really good. Balanced and harmonious.

Skúsil som ho ako začiatky s Martinikom. Vo vôni mi nepríde extra výrazný, no chuťovo naopak áno. Jasne známky kakaa a karamelu. Ťažší agricole a odporúčam skôr ľuďom čo toho majú viac napite. Mňa určite nesklamal

This bottling was particularly successful. Only topped from 1998

The colour looks alluring, but the smell is a bit musty. The taste is smooth and appart from subtle taste of molasses and nutmeg it seems to fade quickly to a dry woody aftertaste. Might try it again at another time.

Pas de violence, rond mais sans trop, des arômes caramels sans trop de sucre. Un rhum plutôt équilibré.
