This rum has a nice color.
Nose: you immediately feel that it’s a spicy and rather dry rum. it’s a complex rum that needs to breath before being sipped.
Palate : we smell the fresh sugar cane with a touch of liquorice, dried fruits and woody notes.
The finish is very long and the taste lasts for a while. it,s an elegant and refined rum, complex and strong in taste and alcohol.
It’s reminds a little of certain whiskey. I highly recommend it for fans of aged agricole rum.
It’s not a rum for beginners.
Ottimo Rum agricolo, ma preferisco altri tipi. Buon Rum agricolo, ma troppo costos sui 60€.
The 7 years plus and 45% give this agricole good intensity. A good balance of spirit and barrel.
At the front end it has typical agricole notes sweet sour vegetal and swiftly moves on to barrel flavours of vanilla and caramel. Rich long and intense.
Pricewise at around 45EUR Germany it's a good buy!
Great looking bottle shape. This rum does have plenty of character with the typical hay-note of agricole rum, but it also a bit thin and alcoholic, you really feel the 46% abv. Will not buy again.
Beautiful bottle , , light caramel , floral and fruityish.. but strong alcohol vapours.
Long aftertaste.
Im hoping the 12yr old is better....
After this rating I’ve tried it in Time Punch. And it’ was quite enjoyable. So for that the rating is changed from 2 (still is if you drink it neat)
One of the worst I’ve ever had. Like drinking gasoline with a horrid taste staying in your mouth. Not even good for mixing with Coke.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Typical Agricole Rhum from sugarcane, nothing for beginners but for real experts and people who will appreciate the raw taste of Sugarcane Rhum.
